About Marilyn and The Garden Wedding Company

Director of The Garden Wedding Company, Marilyn Pearson, has been a wedding caterer and planner in Vancouver area for the past 14 years and understands what it means to have a seamless wedding. Marilyn believes that catering is so much more than just food. It’s the presentation of the service; the special touches to the day, and of course, the lovingly prepared food that enlightens everyone’s taste buds. Marilyn has always enjoyed the challenges that arise out of special event catering including garden weddings.

The Garden Wedding Company understands your wedding is a once in a lifetime event.  It’s not a dress rehearsal and we take each detail very seriously.
Our goal is that your guests say “it’s the best wedding they have ever been to”.  It’s in the details that make your wedding designed by us the best wedding  your guests have attended.

Schooled at Dubrulle Culinary School and tutored by Vancouver’s top Chefs, Marilyn Pearson prepares beautiful dishes created from exquisite ingredients with a fine attention to detail for custom-designed menus. Marilyn combines simplicity and elegance and presents it all with impeccable service. And of course, complete care of your special event.

The Garden Wedding Company and partner, Cuisine and Company, give back to the community by donating all unused food to the guests at the local homeless shelter. We also support needy families in starting their own businesses through World Vision.

Marilyn currently teaches cooking classes at the Wellbrook Winery in Delta, BC Canada and also at Guildford Mall Center Stage with guests Simi Sara and Ken Kostick. Articles on Marilyn’s cuisine have been featured in the Real Weddings Magazine, the Now, Sounder and Metro Vancouver newspapers.
